Shaen

The new owners of the Shaen Street Motel contacted Melissa Slade Interiors wanting to keep it’s mid century style utilising existing features. Starting with the cafe proved the perfect launching point to a larger scale renovation. This allowed us to focus on making a fun and exciting space creating its character through the use of colour and geometric shapes that channelled the era. After establishing the cafe design we were then able to carry through themed elements to other parts of the motel which ensured a mid century vibe was upheld.
