Building your first home is no easy task. This young couple set out to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere that didn’t feel like a typical new build.

I reviewed existing floor plans to make sure the plan would fit their lifestyle. The kitchen was moved towards the family room to invite greater connection. This seemingly minor change freed up ample space to add a walk-in-pantry and study nook.

Every little detail from fixtures to flooring were selected to add warmth and character to their space resulting in an light-filled and inviting home.
